About the Role
You will build, test, and maintain production services using TypeScript, Next.js, and Postgres. You will implement, integrate, and modify smart contracts that handle hundreds of millions of dollars of volume. You will drive ambitious engineering initiatives from specification through architecture, implementation, testing, monitoring, and maintenance, including realtime data indexing at scale. You will work with Unix systems, cloud infrastructure, and AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor, and make engineering decisions based on business context.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building and maintaining production-grade software systems with high-quality documented code
- 3+ years of experience with Unix systems
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure
- Experience with AI tools like Claude Code and Cursor
- Ability to make informed engineering decisions based on business context
- Demonstrated high agency and willingness to dive into unfamiliar technical and non-technical areas
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity
- Experience working for venture-funded startups (preferred)
- Knowledge of capital markets or trading (preferred)
- Proficiency in Next.js and TypeScript (preferred)
