About the Role
You will own the design of a new battery pack from concept through production. You will optimize performance, prototype and qualify designs, define specifications and drawings, investigate failures, lead cross-functional execution, and provide design reviews and mentorship.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience

Responsibilities
- Own battery-pack design from concept through production
- Optimize performance while managing size, weight, manufacturing, and reliability
- Prototype, test, qualify, and hand off designs to production
- Define requirements, specifications, assembly drawings, and 2D drawings
- Investigate failures and production problems
- Lead cross-functional architecture execution
- Provide mentorship, design reviews, and program execution leadership
