About the Role
You will lead electrical subsystem design and cross-discipline integration from concept through production. You will create and review Altium designs, lead technical reviews and testing, manage PLM releases, qualify components, resolve failures, and advise engineering partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- 8+ years of electrical design experience
- Expertise in Altium schematic capture and PCB layout
- Experience in automation robotics or automotive platforms
- Cross-disciplinary electronics integration experience
- Knowledge of robotic safety standards
- Knowledge of EMC/EMI design and debugging
- Strong DfX practice
- Experience leading PDP or phase-gate processes
- Familiarity with PLM and contract manufacturers
Responsibilities
- Lead solutions to complex electrical problems
- Drive subsystem designs from concept through production
- Lead PDP phase gates, reviews, verification, and release
- Design and review Altium schematics and PCB layouts
- Apply and review DfX practices
- Manage PLM releases and contract-manufacturer activities
- Write requirements and test plans
- Lead safety, functional, and EMC/EMI validation
- Investigate failures and lead corrective design
- Qualify electromechanical components
- Advise partners on difficult technical matters
- Travel to support bring-up, installation, and failure analysis
