About the Role

You will build telemetry pipelines, detection content, alert routing, and response runbooks. You will own detection-as-code, lead high-severity incident response, automate triage and enrichment, translate detection gaps into security priorities, and work with infrastructure and corporate IT teams to improve telemetry and resolve root causes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in security operations, detection engineering, or incident response
• Experience building or scaling a detection engineering function
• Hands-on experience writing detections for cloud and endpoint telemetry
• Scripting and automation skills in Python or similar languages
• Incident response experience at significant scale
• Experience operating as a technical lead and working across corporate IT and infrastructure teams

Responsibilities

• Build telemetry pipelines, detection content, alert routing, and response runbooks
• Own detection-as-code across cloud and endpoint sources with testing, version control, and CI
• Lead high-severity incident response, containment, root-cause analysis, and post-incident detection improvements
• Automate alert triage and enrichment in Python or similar languages
• Translate threat landscape and detection gaps into a prioritized security roadmap
• Work with corporate IT and infrastructure teams to obtain telemetry and remediate root causes
