About the Role
The Staff Data Analyst will develop strategies and lead key workstreams for Block Compliance Analytics, quantify compliance risks, communicate insights to regulators and stakeholders, and influence compliance and product roadmaps.
Requirements
- 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 6+ years with a Master’s degree, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of Compliance/AML experience
- Expert-level SQL skills
- Expert-level abilities with Tableau, Looker, and data analysis and visualization tools
- Expertise in ETL development
- Experience solving large, complex problems using deep technical expertise
- Experience defining problems and managing projects in fast-paced environments
- Strong written and verbal communication and data visualization skills
- Impeccable attention to detail and polish
Responsibilities
- Lead data strategy for regulatory engagements, including ETL development, source data validation, and analysis
- Connect regulatory expectations and commitments to Compliance and Product roadmaps
- Analyze raw data to quantify compliance risk and measure program effectiveness
- Create and present clear data visualizations and narratives for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with legal and engineering partners on compliance-related builds
- Lead multiple high-impact workstreams and drive actionable outcomes
- Educate and coach colleagues on compliance analytics and data-driven practices
