About the Role

You will play a pivotal role in shaping Dataiku's product positioning, roadmap, and requirements for predictive analytics, machine learning, and GenAI, working under the Director of Product Management in charge of the AI/ML offering. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across Engineering, Product, GTM, Partners, Marketing Operations, and Customer Success to execute growth projects and new products and features. Your challenge is to identify and shape net new capabilities: innovations that are core additions to the product, discovered through deep customer engagement and validated before engineering commits. You won't maintain what already exists long term; instead you'll partner with Technical Product Managers while you focus on finding what's missing and making the case for building it.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role with the ability to learn and thrive in front of a diverse audience in a technical environment
  • 3+ years hands-on experience building AI/ML solutions such as advanced analytics, predictive analytics, or GenAI-powered applications
  • Ability to prototype and demo agentic applications in Dataiku or elsewhere, producing tangible artifacts that make ideas testable
  • Ability to engage with business leaders and influence decisions
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

Responsibilities

  • Embed with strategic customers to run structured discovery through interviews, async collaboration, or on-site visits to surface unmet needs before competitors find them
  • Analyze usage and customer data to identify gaps and opportunities that deliver new capabilities with distinct business value
  • Analyze market forces and competition and engage with industry analysts to execute on product strategy
  • Collaborate with the Product Marketing team to align on product positioning messages
  • Build working prototypes such as UI mockups, agentic pipeline demos, and opportunity memos to validate hypotheses with customers before engineering commits
  • Synthesize field signals across accounts to distinguish incremental requests from genuine innovation opportunities
  • Define and champion innovation initiatives from discovery through launch, then transition ownership to Technical Product Managers
  • Partner with Technical Product Managers to produce enablement material for Product Marketing and GTM Enablement at launch
  • Maintain the product backlog for owned initiatives while aligning with global product strategy and engineering delivery capacity
  • Participate in developing, maintaining, and educating stakeholders on the AI/ML roadmap
