About the Role
You will own audit-readiness inventories, playbooks, catalogs, and access processes for data systems and datasets. You will build ETL pipelines, dashboards, data-quality checks, and audit-ready architecture while assessing downstream impacts, documenting requirements, and translating audit needs into technical solutions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics or data engineering
- Experience supporting internal audit, risk, or SOX compliance functions
- Data architecture experience in a regulated environment
- Production data pipeline development and ownership
- dbt
- Airflow or equivalent orchestration tools
- Advanced SQL
- Python
- Technical and business requirements documentation
- Metadata and data dictionary documentation

Responsibilities
- Collaborate on technical coordination and stewardship for audit-scoped datasets and systems
- Improve governance and coordination around schema and logic changes
- Assess downstream impacts of data and system changes
- Develop reusable audit-ready dataset patterns
- Automate validation, data-quality checks, and monitoring
- Review audit-scoped processes and datasets
- Propose process improvements and reengineering opportunities
- Provide technical guidance on audit requests
