About the Role

You will learn the core skills behind sports betting odds and markets through hands-on training. You will set and manage pre-game and live prices for football, basketball, and baseball games, player statistics, and futures markets using in-house tools and models. You will monitor real-time news, statistics, industry pricing, game flow, key events, and customer behavior to guide trading decisions and adjust live pricing quickly. You will collaborate with traders and cross-functional partners, contribute ideas for new products and customer-experience improvements, and progressively develop the ability to price markets independently and manage risk. You will work predominantly from the office for training and core trading work, including regular late shifts and weekend shifts.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate a deep passion for NBA, MLB, NCAAF, NCAAB, or WNBA
  • Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrate comfort with numbers, odds, probability, and mental math
  • Understand the relationship between odds, probability, and betting markets
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally
  • Research news and trends
  • Make decisions under pressure while responding to changing information
  • Use Excel proficiently
  • Work nights and weekends
  • Be eligible to work in the United States and obtain a DGE trading license

Responsibilities

  • Learn to set and manage pre-game and live prices for games, player statistics, and futures markets

  • Trade live games and adjust pricing based on game flow and key events
  • Collaborate with traders and cross-functional partners
  • Brainstorm new products and customer-experience improvements
  • Manage risk and price markets independently over time
  • Perform other duties as assigned
