About the Role
You will develop sourcing strategies for memory and storage technologies, manage suppliers, lead commercial negotiations, and maintain supply continuity. You will influence technology roadmaps, analyze costs and markets, manage supplier performance and risks, support product launches, and report recommendations to leadership.
Requirements
- Experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, procurement, or supply chain roles in technology, electronics, infrastructure, semiconductor, or hardware environments
- Understanding of DRAM, SSD, HDD, and related infrastructure components
- Experience developing sourcing strategies for complex technology products and supply chains
- Experience negotiating commercial agreements, supplier contracts, and long-term strategic partnerships
- Cost modelling, pricing analysis, and total cost of ownership skills
- Supplier performance management experience
- Ability to work with engineering and technical teams
- Project management, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills
- Experience sourcing memory, storage, server, networking, compute, or AI infrastructure technologies
- Knowledge of data center, cloud infrastructure, HPC, or AI platform architectures
- Experience with new product introduction, production ramp, lifecycle management, or end-of-life transitions
- Supplier risk management, resiliency, and business continuity experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain planning, and supplier industrialisation
- Experience using data analytics or AI-enabled tools for sourcing or operational efficiency
Responsibilities
- Own sourcing strategy development and execution for memory and storage technologies
- Develop supplier relationships and drive performance across cost, quality, technology, capacity, and delivery
- Influence technology roadmaps, supplier selection, and infrastructure platform strategies
- Lead RFIs, RFQs, commercial evaluations, business awards, and contract negotiations
- Negotiate pricing, supply agreements, capacity commitments, and long-term commercial frameworks
- Develop cost models, market intelligence, and total cost of ownership analyses
- Monitor technology developments and industry trends
- Drive supplier performance reviews, scorecards, corrective actions, and continuous improvement
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through diversification, capacity planning, contingency strategies, and business continuity planning
- Support product launches, production ramps, and ongoing supply
- Align supplier readiness, manufacturing capability, and supply availability with new product requirements
- Report supplier performance, market conditions, commercial opportunities, and supply chain risks to leadership
