About the Role
You will develop and execute sourcing strategies for AI infrastructure commodities and suppliers. You will lead supplier qualification, commercial evaluations, contract negotiations, performance management, risk mitigation, cost analysis, and reporting while partnering with technical and operational stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, or supply chain roles in technology, infrastructure, electronics, or hardware environments
- Knowledge of AI infrastructure, high-performance computing, servers, networking, storage technologies, or related hardware ecosystems
- Experience leading supplier negotiations, commercial agreements, and sourcing projects
- Cost modelling, pricing analysis, and total cost of ownership skills
- Supplier performance management experience
- Ability to assess technical requirements and work with engineering and product development teams
- Project management skills
- Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Experience sourcing infrastructure hardware, compute platforms, servers, networking equipment, storage systems, PCBAs, or related technologies
- Experience supporting data center, cloud infrastructure, AI infrastructure, or HPC deployments
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, supplier industrialization, and new product introduction
- Supplier risk management, resiliency, and business continuity experience
- Knowledge of responsible sourcing and sustainability in technology supply chains
Responsibilities
- Own sourcing strategy development and execution for assigned AI infrastructure commodities and suppliers
- Lead supplier identification, qualification, RFQ and RFP management, commercial evaluation, selection, and contract negotiation
- Develop supplier relationships and drive performance across cost, quality, delivery, capacity, and responsiveness
- Align sourcing decisions with technical, product, and infrastructure requirements
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, technology roadmaps, manufacturing readiness, and scalability
- Lead negotiations for pricing, supply agreements, capacity reservations, development activities, and strategic partnerships
- Build cost models, benchmark analyses, and total cost of ownership assessments
- Drive supplier performance reviews, scorecards, corrective actions, and continuous improvement
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
- Monitor industry trends, supplier landscapes, component availability, and market dynamics
- Report supplier performance, commercial opportunities, sourcing risks, and mitigation plans to leadership
