About the Role
You will create and execute software and hardware verification tests for lunar landers. You will develop test infrastructure, automate nightly testing, investigate anomalies, report defects, analyze system performance, manage test resources and repositories, and trace tested features to requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree, ideally in a technical field
- Minimum five years of relevant work experience
- Object-oriented programming proficiency
- Scripting-language proficiency, including Python
- Ability to build and test distributed software or hardware systems
- Ability to lead anomaly investigations involving multiple experts
- Eligibility under U.S. export regulations
Responsibilities
- Design test plans and procedures for spacecraft software and hardware
- Develop software testing infrastructure and tests
- Improve testing infrastructure for developer and automated testing
- Execute manual test procedures and report regressions
- Expand autonomous nightly testing through the continuous integration pipeline
- Write bug tickets for software issues
- Develop automated test reporting tools
- Benchmark and analyze spacecraft-system performance
- Identify and resolve anomalous software behavior
- Manage test regressions and resources
- Manage test software repositories
- Perform acceptance testing and trace features to requirements
- Collect, analyze, and present test metrics
