About the Role
You will lead, mentor, and grow a firmware and embedded software engineering team. You will guide the architecture, development, integration, validation, and debugging of low-level Vehicle OS software, including RTOS, Linux kernel, and hardware abstraction layer components.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- 8+ years of experience architecting and shipping production embedded or firmware software
- Experience shipping complex firmware or embedded software in production
- Embedded C/C++ expertise
- Experience with RTOS implementation, Linux kernel, and low-level driver/HAL development
- Hardware integration and debugging experience
- Experience with platform bring-up, sensor integration, and hardware/software co-design
- Ability to manage, mentor, and grow technical teams
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow firmware and embedded software engineers
- Architect and develop low-level software for the Vehicle OS platform
- Oversee embedded C/C++ codebases, code reviews, and system-level debugging
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to design, bring up, and validate platforms
- Deliver RTOS, Linux kernel, and hardware abstraction layer software
- Partner with cross-functional leaders on platform initiatives
