About the Role
Join Latitude as an early engineering hire building critical financial infrastructure for global money movement. You will design core architecture, build essential payment components, make architectural decisions with technical leadership, and help shape engineering culture and practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong background building reliable, scalable backend systems
- Track record of owning projects end-to-end and making sound technical decisions
- Enthusiasm for a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong character and empathy
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Design and implement core system architecture for payment infrastructure
- Build workflow engines, partner integrations, ledgering systems, and public APIs
- Work directly with technical leadership on key architectural decisions
