About the Role
You will develop high-quality, scalable features for a data-driven Java enterprise application. You will collaborate on feature design, build and support applications end to end, write and test code, resolve bugs, and help deliver production-ready features. You will participate in planning, design reviews, and code reviews while making data-driven technical decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 3–4 years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and MySQL
- 3–4 years of experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications
- 3–4 years of experience designing and building APIs
- 3+ years of experience delivering software in a cloud environment
- Professional software development experience
- Proficiency in Java or C++ and object-oriented design
- Experience using and validating AI-assisted coding tools
- Knowledge of application architecture and design patterns
- Experience across the software development lifecycle
- Knowledge of coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations
- Exposure to distributed, scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications
- Ability to own features from design through production
- Technical communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality features on time
- Understand the product area
- Contribute to feature design with senior engineers and the Architect
- Develop features using coding practices that support performance and user experience
- Own product quality
- Test features before QA testing
- Write unit tests
- Work with QA engineers on end-to-end product testing
- Fix incoming bugs and meet bug-resolution goals and SLAs
- Demonstrate the product end to end
- Build scalable and performant solutions
- Design, build, and support applications end to end
- Make data-driven technical decisions
- Debug and solve challenging technical problems
- Resolve requirement ambiguities with stakeholders
- Contribute to sprint and quarterly planning
- Participate in design and code reviews
