About the Role
You will develop and maintain production software for robot coordination, system-state management, and operational workflows. You will build integrations, develop fault-tolerant systems, investigate warehouse field issues, support operations, and contribute to technical planning and reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of production-level coding experience in C++, Python, or Rust
- Experience or knowledge of distributed systems, backend services, API design, CI/CD, AWS, and Kubernetes
- Experience designing scalable systems and leading complex technical projects
- Communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience using analysis to influence operational and engineering changes
Responsibilities
- Maintain production code for robot coordination, system-state management, and operational workflows
- Build and maintain integrations with robot platforms, APIs, services, and data systems
- Develop fault-tolerant and fail-safe robotic software
- Triage and root-cause warehouse field issues
- Drive fleet software, integration, and robot software changes based on analysis
- Collaborate with robotics, machine learning, coordination, and product engineers
- Contribute to design reviews, code reviews, and technical planning
- Support warehouse operations to sustain throughput goals
