About the Role
You will contribute well-scoped features for cloud network infrastructure, write tested and maintainable code, and help test and roll out software from bare metal to user-facing APIs. You will participate in reviews and design discussions while building expertise in distributed systems and network engineering through mentorship and collaboration.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building or operating software systems through internships, school projects, or about one year of professional work
- Familiarity with coding standards, code reviews, source control, testing, and CI/CD or build processes
- Working knowledge of Java or Go
- Basic understanding of Linux fundamentals and computer architecture
- Communication and collaboration skills
- Desire to learn network systems and distributed computing concepts
Responsibilities
- Contribute to cloud network features
- Implement well-scoped components of larger projects
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code
- Contribute to design documentation
- Test and roll out software across the stack
- Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions
- Build skills in distributed network systems through mentorship and collaboration
- Participate in engineering initiatives such as tech talks and open-source exploration
