About the Role

You will build and support Linux- and cloud-based data systems for ingestion, ETL, storage, analytics, simulation, and machine-learning training. You will create resilient pipelines, scale the data lake, protect data integrity, support cloud solutions, collaborate with engineering specialists, and participate in business-hours on-call support.

Requirements

• Degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field
• Python programming experience
• Docker and containerization experience
• Knowledge of test-driven development, continuous integration and delivery, and infrastructure as code
• Linux and Bash scripting experience
• Experience deploying, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintaining Linux systems

Responsibilities

• Create resilient pipelines for fleet and simulation data
• Build and support scalable data pipelines for machine-learning training
• Scale the data lake through distributed storage, crawling, and discovery
• Protect data integrity through validation, versioning, provenance, and governance
• Expand the data lake with internal and external data sets
• Assist with cloud-based solution development and delivery
• Collaborate with perception, planning, control, mapping, and vehicle-testing teams
• Support emerging cloud capabilities for safety-critical software
• Participate in the business-hours on-call rotation
