About the Role

You will own exchange integrations from venue documentation through production. You will build REST WebSocket and FIX connectivity manage signing and session lifecycles and support centralized DeFi and prediction-market venues. You will optimize quoting latency maintain resilient order and account state and detect reliability issues before they affect trading.

Requirements

  • Experience building and operating low-latency networked systems
  • Protocol experience with text and binary TCP and WebSocket communication
  • Deep Rust or modern C++ knowledge
  • Distributed-systems experience with consistency idempotency and reconciliation
  • Linux and networking depth
  • Understanding of TLS and signing costs on hot paths
  • Ability to measure and validate performance improvements
  • Fluent English
  • No degree or certifications required

Responsibilities

  • Build and operate venue integrations
  • Implement REST WebSocket and FIX connectivity
  • Manage session lifecycles reconnects and cancel-on-disconnect behavior
  • Optimize quote-to-wire and quote-to-ack latency
  • Maintain order state and account state machines
  • Reconcile balances positions and venue state
  • Implement blockchain transaction and nonce management
  • Monitor failover degraded modes maintenance windows and anomalies
