About the Role
You will build and maintain reproducible software build systems, manage SDK versioning and dependencies, and operate packaging and release pipelines. You will automate build, test, integration, and release workflows, validate artifacts, and resolve platform-specific build issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years in build or release engineering, developer infrastructure, or systems software with substantial build and packaging responsibility
- Python and shell scripting proficiency
- Experience with build systems and C/C++, Rust, and Python toolchains
- Git and continuous integration experience
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain build systems and toolchains across Rust, Python, and C/C++ codebases
- Own SDK release engineering, including versioning, branching, tagging, changelogs, and coordinated releases
- Manage dependency alignment and compatibility policies across SDK components
- Build and operate Python, APT/RPM, and Docker packaging and distribution pipelines
- Design major, minor, and hotfix release workflows
- Develop CI automation for builds, tests, integration, and releases
- Resolve platform-specific build issues and upstream fixes where appropriate
