About the Role
You will manage the accurate and timely movement of high-value data center equipment. You will process shipments, prepare documentation, coordinate carriers, maintain inventory accuracy, resolve transportation issues, operate material-handling equipment safely, and identify logistics process improvements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 3+ years of shipping, logistics, warehousing, or materials management experience
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs. unassisted
- Availability for rotating 12.5-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays
- Ability to work in warehouse and data center environments
Responsibilities
- Process inbound and outbound materials through ERP/WMS systems
- Package, label, and manifest parcel, LTL, and freight shipments
- Schedule carrier movements and prepare shipping documentation
- Verify shipping information and inspect products for shipment
- Select efficient shipping methods and track deliveries
- Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy
- Resolve transportation issues and maintain shipment-system integrity
- Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely
- Apply appropriate transport methods for hazardous or sensitive materials
- Coordinate material movement with internal handlers and drivers
- Provide shipment updates to requestors and destination teams
- Recommend process improvements
