About the Role
You will own major web surfaces from scoping and implementation through launch, monitoring, and production support. You will build complex React and Next.js features, collaborate with backend engineers on APIs and data flows, and work with QA, TPM, product, and design on requirements and launches. You will monitor production systems, respond to incidents, improve frontend observability, address technical debt, contribute to frontend architecture, and connect engineering work to performance, reliability, product quality, and conversion outcomes.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of frontend web engineering experience
- Experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend development
- Frontend system design knowledge across state management, data fetching, caching, performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Experience owning complex features from scoping through launch
- Debugging skills and experience responding to production issues
- Experience working with backend engineers on APIs, data contracts, failure modes, and system behavior
- Experience operating independently in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
- Clear communication during planning, launches, bugs, and incidents
Responsibilities
- Own and launch complex web features end-to-end
- Collaborate with backend engineers on APIs, data flows, and reliable user experiences
- Partner with QA, TPM, product, and design to clarify requirements and manage launches
- Monitor systems and respond to production issues and incidents
- Build and improve frontend logs, metrics, alerts, dashboards, and error reporting
- Identify technical debt, propose refactors, and contribute to frontend system design
- Conduct strong code reviews and communicate clearly
- Connect technical work to performance, reliability, product quality, and conversion outcomes
