About the Role
You will develop and enhance cloud storage products with a focus on reliability, performance, scalability, and customer needs. You will operate storage platforms, resolve incidents, build automation and reference implementations, conduct testing, create operational documentation, and promote storage best practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of storage systems engineering experience
- Experience building and managing distributed storage products
- Proficiency with Linux, Python, and Bash
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and containerization technologies including KVM and Kubernetes
- Expertise in technical documentation, enablement, and training
- Ability to define technical requirements with cross-functional teams
- Analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Develop features and enhancements for storage products
- Collaborate to define technical requirements and influence product direction
- Oversee storage-platform health, troubleshooting, incident response, and root-cause analysis
- Build reference implementations, technical documentation, training materials, and onboarding resources
- Lead proof-of-concept initiatives, product evaluations, and performance testing
- Develop automation tools for operations and deployment
- Create and maintain knowledge articles and runbooks
- Promote storage design, deployment, and operations best practices
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies
