About the Role
You will design, deploy, manage, and maintain storage infrastructure, monitor performance and availability, plan capacity, implement backup and disaster recovery strategies, troubleshoot storage issues, document systems, collaborate on upgrades, and automate provisioning.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Linux systems administration focused on storage
- Experience with Ceph
- Experience with enterprise storage systems
- Understanding of RAID, LVM, NFS, iSCSI, multipathing, and file systems
- Experience with clustering technologies
- Shell scripting proficiency
- Python knowledge
- Puppet or Ansible knowledge
- Virtualization technologies such as VMware or KVM
- AWS S3 and EBS familiarity
- Experience with Nagios, Prometheus, or Zabbix
