About the Role
You will lead the technical direction for storage DPU offload and build control-plane and data-plane software across the host and DPU boundary. You will integrate hardware-offload frameworks, improve observability and testing, benchmark performance, and work with storage, networking, compute, and hardware partners.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Systems-level programming experience in C, C++, or Rust
- Production experience with Go, Java, or similar control-plane languages
- Production experience with SmartNICs or DPUs
- Knowledge of NVMe-oF, RDMA, RoCE, InfiniBand, and storage protocols
- Experience with SR-IOV, vDPA, virtio, XDP, eBPF, DPDK, or SPDK
- Strong Linux systems background, including kernel internals, drivers, and I/O subsystems
- Experience contributing to file, block, or object storage systems
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
Responsibilities
- Design and implement DPU-offloaded storage protocol software
- Build and maintain control-plane integration with DPU-resident services
- Partner on RDMA, RoCE, NVMe-oF, SR-IOV, and vDPA fabric work
- Evaluate and integrate DPU SDKs and storage-virtualization frameworks
- Build monitoring and testing for DPU-offloaded paths
- Drive IOPS, throughput, latency, and host-CPU benchmarking
- Lead DPU-related storage architecture decisions
