About the Role

You will architect proactive, automated security and scaling frameworks for enterprise identity software. You will define technical strategy, design automated vulnerability remediation and dependency-management solutions, establish security standards, mentor senior engineers, collaborate across regions, and embed automated unit and integration testing into the architecture.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of software engineering experience operating as a principal or senior staff architect for enterprise-grade, large-scale systems.
  • Expert-level Java knowledge and familiarity with the enterprise Java ecosystem, open-source libraries, and performance tuning at scale.
  • Experience architecting automated CI/CD guardrails, automated dependency workflows, or self-healing infrastructure.
  • Understanding of HTTP, TLS, and core web application constraints.
  • Experience driving technical alignment across distributed engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of identity management technologies and protocols, including SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, certificate management, and cryptography.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Spring, Jackson, JDBC, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with React, Redux, and JavaScript.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated security guardrails, continuous patching architecture, and intelligent dependency management.
  • Partner with Product Management and Security leadership to define a three-year technical roadmap.
  • Establish architectural patterns, security standards, and automation frameworks across distributed agile engineering teams.
  • Mentor and develop Senior and Staff engineers.
  • Collaborate with local and global colleagues to align engineering efforts.
  • Work with Software Quality Engineers to build automated unit and integration testing frameworks into the architecture.
