About the Role
You will own the structural dynamics and validation strategy for robotic subsystems. You will translate operating requirements into engineering models and test methods, define loading environments, develop simulations, run validation tests, and resolve issues involving vibration, noise, fatigue, durability, and control stability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Master's or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Extensive experience in structural dynamics vibration analysis durability engineering or mechanical validation
- Experience developing correlated analytical and experimental structural models
- Understanding of modal analysis frequency response shock vibration fatigue and structural validation
- Experience designing instrumentation plans test setups and data acquisition campaigns
- Experience with finite element analysis and structural simulation tools
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Define statistically representative load cases for robotic operating conditions
- Develop and maintain structural dynamics shock and vibration models correlated with test data
- Improve durability NVH performance and control stability through structural analysis
- Lead instrumentation data acquisition testing model correlation and reporting
- Investigate and resolve structural dynamics issues
- Partner with mechanical controls systems and reliability engineers
