About the Role
You will act as a hands-on technical lead for autonomy software. You will design autonomy algorithms, develop high-performance C++ and Python modules, implement behavior architectures, integrate machine-learning and rule-based approaches, and deploy capabilities to operational platforms. You will analyze mission data, support customer deployments and training, maintain documentation, and travel for field testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Aerospace, AI, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related engineering field
- 12+ years of industry experience
- Ability to travel and stay deployed at customer sites across India and Asia
- 3+ years of hands-on software experience for autonomy or robotics applications
- 2+ years of startup experience
- Software engineering background
- Modern C++ proficiency
- Intermediate Python proficiency
- Fluency in Hindi and English
Responsibilities
- Design tactical autonomy algorithms
- Develop high-performance planning, decision-making, and behavior-execution software
- Implement and test behavior architectures for multi-agent coordination
- Integrate classical autonomy with machine-learning methods
- Collaborate on autonomy integration with perception, planning, simulation, hardware, and flight-test teams
- Deploy capabilities and participate in field tests and flight demonstrations
- Analyze mission logs and performance data
- Research and prototype new autonomy algorithms
- Adapt autonomy solutions to customer and program needs
- Provide software handover and training to customers
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Travel to customer sites for deployment, training, and flight testing
