About the Role
You lead the design, training, and deployment of deep-learning and multimodal models, build production AI pipelines for OCR, biometric matching, fraud recognition, and AIGC detection, develop anti-spoofing and quality models, create identity and trust signals, drive applied research, collaborate across functions, and mentor senior engineers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience developing AI/ML solutions
- Experience with computer vision, AI agents, multimodal learning, vision-LLM, or generative video/image modeling
- Experience deploying AI/ML systems into production
- Proficiency with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
- Experience with large-scale production ML systems
- Strong coding ability in Python
- Experience designing end-to-end AI solutions
- Experience leading cross-team technical initiatives
- Communication and leadership skills
- Experience influencing technical direction
- Experience mentoring senior engineers
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with identity verification, KYC/KYB, AML, fraud detection, biometric security, or media forensics
- Experience with OCR, document parsing, fake-ID detection, or document-security systems
- Familiarity with real-time and low-latency AI systems
- Knowledge of Spark, Flink, Kafka, Airflow, or Snowflake
- Familiarity with MLOps
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design, training, and deployment of deep-learning and multimodal models
- Build and own production-grade AI pipelines for OCR, text extraction, biometric matching, fraud-pattern recognition, and AIGC detection
- Lead anti-spoofing capabilities against presentation, injection, and DeepFake attacks
- Develop image and video quality models
- Build identity-quality and trust signals from behavioral and cross-modal indicators
- Partner with backend, product, infrastructure, risk, and compliance teams
- Drive experimentation in vision-LLM, multimodal representation learning, and AI agents
- Translate research advances into production-ready defenses
- Mentor senior engineers
- Set high engineering standards and promote applied-AI best practices
