About the Role
You will design and develop large-scale, single- and multi-tenant Java-based identity management products. You will collaborate effectively with a distributed team across the Portland metro area, Canada, and Europe. You will analyze and elaborate on requirements with product management and architects to improve the identity platform and develop new features for PingIDM. You will plan, estimate, and manage development tasks independently per business plans, enable successful cloud deployments, and work closely with customer-facing support teams to resolve customer issues.
Requirements
- Wide experience designing and developing large-scale applications in Java
- Strong understanding of HTTP and RESTful web services
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with cloud architectures and deployment strategies (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience using AI agents such as Claude Code to plan, validate, and implement functionality
- Ability to learn quickly and independently and understand complex features and environments
- Experience with identity management technologies and protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, certificate and key management, and cryptography is an advantage
- Understanding of enterprise-scale systems and security configurations is an advantage
- Experience building performant systems that deploy and execute at scale is an advantage
