About the Role
You will develop foundational machine-learning architectures and systematic approaches to complex perception challenges. You will prototype architectural decisions, improve model frameworks and data pipelines, evaluate experiments, and align technical work with perception and AI stakeholders.
Requirements
- Hold a BS with 4+ years, an MS with 2+ years, or a PhD with 1+ years of experience in robotics, computer vision, machine learning, or a related perception field
- Have extensive experience architecting, training, and evaluating deep learning models
- Demonstrate a record of taking applied research or engineering projects from experimentation to productization
- Have strong software engineering, machine learning algorithm design, and ML data and metrics pipeline experience
- Be fluent in Python and have hands-on C++ experience
- Have experience delivering real-time robotic perception solutions such as detection, segmentation, or tracking
- Have sensor-fusion experience
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the technical direction of perception architecture
- Design and develop machine-learning components and architectures for scalable perception
- Prototype key architectural decisions for long-tail challenges and long-range detection
- Improve model frameworks, architectures, and data pipelines
- Lead challenging technical topics and build consensus across stakeholders
