About the Role
You will architect reliable Python systems that help research work move from experimentation to production. You will build internal tools, APIs, and libraries, integrate data and ML capabilities, design CI/CD workflows, set engineering standards, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- Software architecture and large-scale backend development experience
- Experience with C#, Java, Python, or similar languages
- Experience building developer tools, frameworks, or platforms
- Cloud-based development experience, including data storage, persistence, secure access, and on-premises integration
- Knowledge of ML, computer vision, or robotics workflows
- Experience with code quality, testing, modularity, documentation, and CI/CD
Responsibilities
- Architect production-grade Python systems for experimentation, prototyping, and deployment
- Lead code quality, testing, modularity, and documentation practices
- Build internal tooling, APIs, and libraries that simplify infrastructure complexity
- Collaborate on integrating data processing, training, and inference capabilities
- Design CI/CD workflows for research-heavy Python projects
- Make engineering decisions and mentor engineers on maintainable code
