About the Role
You will design, build, test, and maintain data-intensive desktop applications and reusable libraries using C# and modern .NET. You will improve performance, reliability, logging, traceability, rendering, memory use, concurrency, reactive data pipelines, and startup time. You will own software throughout its lifecycle, from design and implementation through automated testing, deployment, staged rollout, and production support. You will also use AI-assisted and agentic development tools to improve delivery and software quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or relevant work experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Substantial experience building C# and .NET desktop applications
- Thorough understanding of C# UI development and tooling
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to read and write high- and mid-level architecture documentation
- Awareness of emerging technologies and standards
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain data-intensive desktop applications and reusable libraries using C# and modern .NET
- Develop and maintain systems that ensure application performance, integrity, reliability, logging, and traceability
- Profile and improve rendering, memory usage, concurrency, reactive data pipelines, and application startup performance
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers, traders, and developers
- Own software through design, implementation, automated testing, instrumentation, deployment, staged rollout, and production support
- Leverage AI-assisted and agentic development tools to improve delivery and software quality
