About the Role
Design, implement, and maintain scalable brokerage systems and services, including backend microservices, React-based internal interfaces, and third-party integrations. Enhance frameworks for multiple languages, currencies, and markets; troubleshoot incidents and bugs; lead regional incident response; support regulatory requirements; collaborate with global stakeholders; participate in on-call support; and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Go or similar backend languages
- Experience designing robust system architectures
- Strong computer science fundamentals
- Software engineering architecture experience
- Experience with event-driven design

- Ability to work independently in a fully remote globally distributed team
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Experience in financial services, online trading platforms, brokerage systems, or fintech
- Experience designing complex financial systems including double-entry accounting
- Understanding of financial transaction processing, trade lifecycle management, and settlement processes
- Experience with online trading systems, order management, execution, market data processing, and real-time trade processing
- Experience building scalable high-availability financial applications handling multi-currency transactions
- Experience with financial APIs, market data integrations, and trade settlement processes
- Familiarity with financial market regulatory compliance requirements
Responsibilities
- Design scalable mission-critical brokerage systems
- Develop middle- and back-office systems
- Build gRPC microservices
- Develop React-based interfaces for internal administration and API developers
- Integrate third-party vendors
- Enhance frameworks to support multiple languages, currencies, and markets
- Collaborate with technical leads across regions
- Troubleshoot incidents and reported bugs
- Lead incident response as incident commander
- Support regulatory requirements
