About the Role
Own key iOS software components for World ID, designing, building, debugging, maintaining, scaling, and instrumenting native applications and SDKs for security, privacy, reliability, and scalability.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and developing native iOS applications using Swift or Objective-C
- Track record of writing exceptional, reliable, and maintainable software
- Experience building SDKs and integrating with cloud services
- Familiarity with security, privacy, and cryptography best practices
- Strong collaboration, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and operate in ambiguous environments
- Experience or exposure to distributed systems, biometrics, or machine learning is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design, build, debug, maintain, and scale native iOS applications and SDKs
- Own key software components and ship high-quality production code
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders
- Build SDK and cloud integrations for World ID verification and authentication
- Implement privacy-preserving mechanisms and secure credential management
- Instrument systems for performance, reliability, and observability
- Optimize systems for scalability, security, and compliance
- Improve enrollment and verification modalities and reduce involuntary churn
