About the Role
You will lead technically complex projects and act as a multiplier for your team. You'll drive execution of complex technical initiatives from concept to production, dig into the architecture to find opportunities to simplify code and infrastructure, and use modern AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate your workflow. You'll mentor and coach peers through diligent PR reviews and architectural guidance, and partner closely with product and design to build the right solutions for users.
Requirements
- Experience with (or desire to learn) Python, Django, React, Postgres, and Kafka
- Familiarity with Java, gRPC, and AWS is a plus
- Ability to break down complex user stories into actionable tasks and execute with minimal guidance
- Understanding of the 'why' behind code and ability to articulate technical trade-offs to stakeholders
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience recommended
Responsibilities
