About the Role
You will design and evolve an application-level simulator for machine learning workloads. You will translate workloads and benchmark data into simulation models, validate results against system measurements, build scalable components, collaborate with performance and architecture specialists, and drive simulator adoption for technical decisions.
Requirements
- C++ development experience in performance-sensitive or large-scale systems
- Python skills
- Familiarity with ML frameworks and execution graphs
- Understanding of computer architecture, memory hierarchy, and heterogeneous systems
- Familiarity with ML accelerator concepts
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve an ML application-level simulator
- Model workload execution, system behaviour, and resource usage
- Translate workloads and benchmarking data into simulation models
- Validate simulator outputs against real system measurements
- Improve simulator fidelity
- Build scalable and maintainable components
- Collaborate with performance engineers, ML teams, and silicon architects
- Drive simulator adoption as a decision-making tool
