About the Role
You will design and build scalable systems, web applications, APIs, and services. You will develop and maintain public APIs, translate functional visions into roadmaps, support internal business capabilities, collaborate with stakeholders, and balance technical quality, delivery speed, and customer needs. You will also participate in project leadership and an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Experience designing and building scalable systems, web applications, APIs, and services
- Understanding of relational and analytical databases such as Postgres
- Experience translating customer pain points into technical and product requirements
- Strong initiative, ownership, adaptability, and ambiguity navigation
- Ability to structure problems and prioritize critical issues
- Ability to communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional environments
- Availability for at least six hours of overlap with Pacific Time
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable systems, web applications, APIs, and services
- Develop and maintain public APIs
- Translate functional visions into technical roadmaps and outcomes
- Support internal business units through shared engineering services
- Build cross-functional relationships to understand customer and stakeholder needs
- Lead projects as a technical anchor
- Participate in the on-call rotation and triage alerts and customer support requests
