Fairmint is an SEC-registered transfer agent that brings private equity on blockchain. The platform enables founders to issue tokenized equity, manage cap tables using the Open Cap Table Format standard, and raise capital from investors through compliant offerings. Investors hold equity directly in their wallets, sign agreements digitally, and fund investments via bank transfer or stablecoins. About the Role
You will build and ship scalable product features with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. You will use AI-assisted development tools, design and optimize AWS infrastructure, integrate onchain and traditional financial systems, maintain security and regulatory compliance, contribute to architecture decisions, and mentor others in AI-assisted engineering practices.
Requirements
- Have at least 5 years of professional software development experience
- Demonstrate advanced skills in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
- Have solid experience with AWS Lambda and Amplify
- Show a record of delivering production systems in fintech or regulated environments
- Be comfortable using AI-assisted development tools daily
- Be a US citizen, permanent resident, or French citizen
- Be based on the US East Coast or in France and attend regular team meetups in NYC or Connecticut
Responsibilities
- Build and ship scalable features with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
- Use Cursor, MCP, and AI agents to accelerate development and enhance product features
- Design and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure using Lambda, Amplify, S3, and API Gateway
- Integrate onchain systems with traditional financial systems
- Ensure security and regulatory compliance across deployed systems
- Contribute to software architecture decisions
- Mentor colleagues on AI-assisted development practices
