About the Role
You will build and maintain embedded Linux software for robotics platforms. You will bring up ARM boards, maintain device trees, bootloaders, and kernel drivers, and develop flashing and over-the-air firmware processes. You will improve code quality, lead technical reviews, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- Professional software engineering experience
- Rust, C, or C++
- Linux kernel development

- U-Boot, EDK2, platform firmware, or UEFI

Responsibilities
- Bring up and maintain embedded ARM systems, including device trees, bootloaders, and kernel drivers
- Design, implement, and maintain system flashing processes for manufacturing and development
- Design, implement, and maintain system and firmware OTA processes
- Customize vendor drivers for robotics applications
- Produce high-quality, well-tested, maintainable code
- Mentor engineers and improve team processes and technical standards
- Lead design reviews, code reviews, and technical planning sessions
