About the Role
You will design and evolve scalable data pipeline and orchestration infrastructure. You will build workflow tooling, support ingestion, processing, inference, and evaluation, improve reliability and incident response, and partner with users to deliver effective platform capabilities.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering or related technical experience
- Production-grade software system design, development, and maintenance experience
- Python

- Apache Kafka
- Database principles and consistency models
- Postgres, ClickHouse, or column-oriented database familiarity
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve scalable data pipeline and orchestration infrastructure
- Contribute to the Harness revamp and development of a DAG-based workflow platform
- Build tooling and libraries for data ingestion, processing, inference, and evaluation workflows
- Enable efficient execution of hundreds of parallel pipeline steps
- Support batch inference and performance-optimisation workflows
- Improve platform reliability, quality, usability, and incident-response workflows
- Collaborate with partner teams to deliver pipeline infrastructure
