You will design, develop, and release high-quality software features for the security platform, with a focus on backend development and reliable log parsing. You will shape technical vision, convert requirements into workflows and data models, maintain code quality, mentor engineers, and improve development workflows with AI tooling.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience developing complex software products
• 5+ years of Ruby on Rails programming experience
• Defensive coding skills
• Secure, resilient, and failure-aware system design skills
• JavaScript experience
• Postgres or similar database experience
• Technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience using AI coding agents

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical development of Portal features, including UX/UI and API-focused work
• Develop high-quality software, designs, and architecture
• Collaborate with Growth teams to build and optimize data-driven features, experiments, and user flows
• Convert acceptance criteria into functional workflows, data models, and software designs
• Manage the system life cycle, including evolution, configuration, and risk management
• Ensure code quality and test coverage through code and test plan reviews
• Lead accurate estimation and timely completion of work
• Mentor and coach engineers
• Promote collaboration and engagement
• Lead by example as a positive role model
• Build and evolve AI tooling and usage in daily development workflows
