About the Role

You will lead the design and implementation of core managed AI systems, including fault-tolerant queues, model catalogs, and cost-optimized scheduling. You will scale infrastructure for high request volumes, implement monitoring and alerting, shape architecture, collaborate on the platform roadmap, and prototype emerging technologies.

Requirements

Advanced degree in Computer Science or Engineering
4-5+ years of industry experience leading initiatives
Experience with distributed systems and cloud services
Experience delivering early-stage projects quickly
Experience with generative AI, including LLMs and multimodal models
Familiarity with AI infrastructure for training, inference, and ETL pipelines
Proficiency with Kubernetes or another distributed cluster orchestration system
Experience with microservices, REST APIs, gRPC, CI/CD, and the software development lifecycle

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of core AI services
Build resilient fault-tolerant queues for task distribution
Build model catalogs for managing and versioning AI models
Develop scheduling mechanisms optimized for cost and performance
Architect and scale infrastructure for millions of API requests per second
Implement monitoring and alerting for system health and availability
Collaborate on the AI platform roadmap and architecture
Contribute to open-source AI frameworks
Prototype and iterate on emerging technologies and features
