About the Role

You will develop, deploy, and maintain EVM smart contracts for production systems. You will design and implement monitoring and alerting for contracts, work directly with auditors to validate security, and optimize low level EVM behavior and gas usage. You will also integrate contracts with infrastructure, write thorough tests and documentation, and dive into unfamiliar technical areas as needed to deliver robust DeFi features.

Requirements

• Experience building deploying and maintaining EVM smart contracts in production
• Experience working with auditors
• Deep understanding of Ethereum and low level EVM concepts
• Demonstrated high agency and willingness to dive into unfamiliar technical and non technical areas
• Team first attitude
• Passion for decentralized finance
• Experience with cloud infrastructure preferably AWS
• Experience with Rust or other statically typed languages
• Experience in quant trading or DeFi

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain EVM smart contracts
• Design and implement monitoring systems for smart contracts
• Deploy smart contracts to production and manage upgrades
• Collaborate with auditors to ensure security and correctness
• Optimize low level EVM code and gas usage
• Integrate smart contracts with cloud infrastructure and tooling
• Write and maintain tests and documentation
• Participate in DeFi protocol design and implementation
