About the Role
You will architect, write, test, formally verify, audit, deploy, and monitor Move smart contracts for DeFi protocols on Movement. You will implement on-chain primitives, reason about exploit classes, manage testnet and mainnet deployments, respond to audit findings, and define secure coding and testing standards.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of smart contract or blockchain engineering experience
- Hands-on production experience writing Move
- Deep knowledge of Aptos-family Move including the resource model abilities modules and framework
- Experience shipping contracts handling real value on Movement Aptos or Sui mainnet
- Strong DeFi fundamentals
- Security-first approach with thorough testing and exploit awareness
- Experience with Move testing tooling
- Rust proficiency or a strong systems background
- Strong written communication
- Familiarity with Git and modern engineering workflows
Responsibilities
- Design write and deploy Move modules for DeFi protocols
- Write unit and integration tests
- Apply formal verification to critical logic
- Analyze access control arithmetic oracle economic flash loan and upgrade risks
- Implement DeFi primitives such as AMMs lending staking tokenization and oracles
- Prepare code for audits and drive the audit process
- Fix audit findings
- Manage testnet and mainnet deployments and upgrades
- Monitor live contract behavior
- Define testing verification and secure coding standards
