About the Role

You will design, implement, maintain, and support distributed systems for real-time algorithmic trading. You will design and debug reliable stream- and event-based systems, improve response times and reliability, consult on acceptance criteria with product stakeholders, and improve code quality through unit and integration testing.

Requirements

  • Experience with ZIO or Pekko Typed.
  • Experience with Scala 3 and Scala 2.13.
  • Knowledge of Jsoniter, Tapir, and Mill.
  • Knowledge of Totem.
  • Experience with Kafka.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support distributed systems for low-latency algorithmic trading.
  • Design and debug stream-based and event-based systems with high reliability and real-time characteristics.
  • Improve system response times and reliability.
  • Consult on acceptance criteria with product-level stakeholders.
  • Improve codebase quality through unit and integration testing.
