About the Role

You design, develop, and optimize low-latency, mission-critical trading systems. You own trading stack components from architecture through production operation, collaborate with quants, traders, and engineers, and improve system performance, stability, observability, and resilience. You troubleshoot production issues, provide technical leadership through code reviews and mentoring, automate operational tasks, and contribute to testing critical trading components.

Requirements

  • Production-grade Rust experience building high-performance concurrent systems
  • Tokio proficiency
  • Systematic trading experience in HFT, market making, quantitative trading, or a similar environment
  • Understanding of execution, market data, and operational risk
  • AWS expertise
  • Linux expertise
  • Shell scripting
  • Production debugging and troubleshooting
  • Python or other scripting language proficiency
  • FIX, REST, and WebSocket protocols
  • Exchange connectivity
  • Market data feeds
  • TCP and UDP networking
  • Packet and latency path analysis
  • Dedicated network infrastructure
  • DPDK and kernel bypass techniques

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize low-latency mission-critical trading systems
  • Own key trading stack components from architecture through production operation
  • Collaborate with quants, traders, and engineers to improve trading performance and resilience
  • Maintain and evolve trading infrastructure for performance, stability, observability, and operational excellence
  • Troubleshoot production issues across exchange connectivity, execution, and market data handling
  • Drive engineering standards through technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring
  • Leverage AI-assisted workflows and automate operational tasks
  • Evolve agentic engineering tooling
  • Contribute to functional, component, and production-readiness testing
