About the Role

Design and implement the CLOB execution layer, including order books, matching engines, exchange logic, protocol components, blockchain client logic, and transaction processing pipelines.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of systems programming experience and 3+ years in Rust
  • Experience building trading platforms, execution engines, or exchanges
  • Contributions to Rust-based L1 protocol projects
  • Deep understanding of distributed computing, consensus, P2P networking, and high-performance data structures
  • Knowledge of on-chain order books, AMMs, and hybrid architectures
  • Ability to independently design and implement production-grade systems

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement the on-chain order book and matching engine in Rust
  • Design exchange-specific execution, risk, account, and state-management logic
  • Develop state transition, consensus, validator, and transaction-processing components
  • Integrate oracles, bridges, and external data providers
  • Optimize latency, concurrency, and gas efficiency
  • Conduct benchmarking and stress testing
  • Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
