About the Role
You will build and improve the systems that enable frontier AI research, including distributed training pipelines, accelerator optimisation, experiment frameworks, data pipelines, and reproducibility tooling. You will make technical decisions that shape research execution, implement research efficiently, and collaborate on scalable research infrastructure.
Requirements
- PhD in computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience building AI systems at scale
- Experience at a frontier AI research lab
- Experience running large-scale experiments
- Experience with distributed training frameworks, GPU or accelerator optimisation, data pipelines, experiment tracking, and reproducibility
- Experience with CUDA kernels or XLA
- Open-source contributions to PyTorch, JAX, MLX, or similar projects
- Strong software engineering, testing, and performance practices
