About the Role

You will define inspection criteria and quality processes for supplier parts and production. You will monitor quality metrics, lead corrective actions and root-cause analyses, manage incoming quality control, audit suppliers, establish quality systems, implement end-of-line tests, and travel to suppliers when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering
  • Proficiency with classic quality-analysis tools
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality-audit processes
  • At least five years of volume-production experience in robotics, e-bike, consumer electronics, or automotive
  • Mechanical inspection and electrical testing tool knowledge
  • Technical drawing and GD&T knowledge
  • Experience with at least three independent new-product volume-production projects
  • English reading and writing skills

Responsibilities

  • Define critical-to-quality parameters for mechanical and electrical parts and assemblies
  • Monitor quality metrics and maintain a quality-parameter database
  • Lead quality-improvement solutions for suppliers and production
  • Manage non-conforming material reports and lead root-cause analysis
  • Manage incoming quality control for critical components
  • Lead supplier qualification audits and corrective actions
  • Establish supply-chain and production quality tools and systems
  • Implement end-of-line robot testing procedures
  • Travel to suppliers to conduct source inspections and resolve quality bottlenecks
