About the Role
You will plan, prepare, and maintain test cases and test documentation. You will drive manual and automated API testing using tools such as Postman and Swagger and work hands-on at the service layer. You will take an active role in the release process at all stages, gather information from developers, report and track defects, and collaborate with analysts on feature requirements. You will proactively work to optimize test cycle length and use automated testing frameworks in C#, JavaScript, or Go. You will use Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and version control platforms (Bitbucket or GitHub) to document and track your work.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on Back-End / API testing experience
- Deep, day-to-day experience at the service layer
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger
- Hands-on experience in automated testing using C#, JavaScript, or Go
- Proven defect detection, documentation, and tracking experience for Back-End systems
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Experience with version control platforms such as Bitbucket or GitHub
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and the SDLC
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and identify quality or timeline risks
- Strong analytical and investigative problem-solving skills
- Good English for documentation; Ukrainian or Russian for internal communication
- Nice to have: experience with Web3 and non-custodial wallets
- Nice to have: knowledge of smart contracts and blockchain basics
